INTRODUCING FARMHILL

A new local Irish Café and Restaurant

Restaurateur Keith Hallissey and entrepreneurs Paul O’Connor and Geoff Boyle (www.123.ie and hello.ie) will open a brand new concept café located in Goatstown, Co Dublin on Thursday, October 15th.

“Farmhill offers homemade, fresh Irish produce at affordable prices. We have worked hard to create this new space and have sourced the best natural Irish foods to ensure that taste and quality are the key ingredients,” said Paul O’Connor.

Located on 9 Farmhill Road, Goatstown, and the interior décor underlines the restaurants place as a chic new haven for locals and visitors. The impeccably tasteful interiors are matched with beautifully designed furniture, lovingly sourced by Keith Hallissey. Farmhill is a cosy space with each corner cleverly designed to allow comfort: ideal for couples, families, groups or a place to chill with a lovely cup of coffee and a homemade scone.

While painstaking care has been taken to get the interior look just right, the menu offers great choice and value to all. The menu reveals a strong commitment to Tipperary Food Producers and local Irish suppliers and a confident approach to providing excellent food. The breakfast menu features exciting options such as Crowes Farm bacon and sausages, Inch House black and white award winning puddings, free range eggs as well as French toast and pancakes with fruit and syrup. The breakfast preserves come form award winning Crossogue Preserves and includes Lime & Tequila and Seville Orange & Campari Marmalades. Healthy options of Granola, Yogurt and freshly squeezed juices will be available also. Home baked scones and pastries will be available throughout the day.

Lunch will feature Sandwiches on specialised breads including sourdough and gluten free alternatives. The “Farmhill Burger” featuring “Scarlet Heifer Beef” fresh from their farm in Co. Meath is set to be a popular option. The beef on the menu comes from Scarlet Heifer Farm and will go exceedingly well with the Sunday Roast Spud Special using Pat Whelan’s Award winning Beef Dripping (Supreme Champion at this years Guild of Fine Food Awards). Lunch will also feature pasta, free-range chicken, with daily specials of seafood, beef and poultry as well as healthy options and superfood salad.

Brunch will be served on Sunday with specials including “Fish finger Sandwiches” and a weekend roast with Pat Whelan’s roasties!

Homemade desserts will be accompanied with Boulabán Ice Cream another of the Tipperary Food Producers taking centre stage at Farmhill.

A fantastic new wine list has been carefully selected with wines starting at €22 and features wine from actor Sam Neill’s ‘Two Paddocks’ vineyard in New Zealand.

Farmhill can seat up to 40 people and will open for breakfast and lunch on Thursday 15th October at 8.30am.   Farmhill will open for dinner service in the coming weeks. For bookings please call 086-0789292 or see www.farmhill.ie coming soon.
